Creative Art Direction at Original BUFF® HQ
– Global campaign.

Started by citizens who wanted to protect their local beach, Surfrider has steadily gained momentum with each passing decade to become a global leader in ocean protection. -Surfriders Foundation.

BUFF®, a company dedicated to outdoor sports and nature conservation, has joined the ocean preservation cause for the first time. The aim of this capsule was to visually reflect a color palette similar to Gemma Lessinger’s paintings, particularly highlighting the white water of the ocean. For the campaign, we aimed to recreate those paintings by shooting on a dark sand beach with summery blue water from a cliff, providing a stunning view from above.

In addition to this visual approach, we added a twist by utilizing a 360 camera with a fish-eye lens, creating a fun and fresh perspective that appeals to a younger audience on social media. Further content was developed, including an activation on the beach, an interview with the artist, and studio product photos to build a comprehensive 360 campaign around this partnership.

The campaign’s vibe embodies the traveler spirit, focusing on themes of friendship, connection with the ocean, and joyful summer experiences.
